  • Volunteer during the week or at the weekend, growing together as a friend and a part of the crew on our events. There are no prior skills needed, only a true heart and a can do attitude, and if you don’t have that when you start, we’re sure you’ll have it once you go home!

    We     are currently self funded and rely heavily on the kind donations of our sponsors. All donations go into improving the land and making it a functional, safe, beautiful community space.

  • Do you have an idea for an event, workshop or retreat? Do you need some help organising and setting up at Cobberton Gardens?

    Mars is open to ideas big and small, she is keen for the land to be used and enjoyed by the community and has lots of experience organising and setting up events, you can hire the space and Mars’ skills to help get your dream event off the ground.

Light Bearers Fundraiser
12:30 - 11:00PM

A day event in spirit of the light that gives us strength during the winter. We’re putting together a fundraiser for permanent lights so that the site becomes more accessible.

In return, we’re giving you a family friendly bonus of a day with the best of the South West. A DJ set by Moor Funk, Cabaret, Workshops, Theatre, Live Jam Sessions.

As well as this there will be food, drinks, cozy spaces and fancy frocks.

Dress to impress and join us as light bearers.

NYE EXTRAvaganza
4:30 - late

Everyone’s favourite night out, a chance to remember the years happenings, put your dancing shoes on and make those minor improvements for the year ahead.. well, maybe you can start that in January, lets have some fun first.

We’re delighted to be working with Fin Hopkins of Yomojo. With live music from Lost Costoreros and Yomojo, you’ll be feeling pretty damn inspired to dance the night away.

Food, bar, a plethora of spaces to explore in this wondrous wonderland. Don’t miss this one, it’s going to be great!

Wagon building course

January 22 & 23

A fine craft of our nomadic ancestors that allowed them to be on the move with their shelter and ponies. As the wave of tiny houses explodes we take a delve back to our heritage and learn the skill of Bowtop Wagon Building.

Learn basic carpentry and design skills, how to build a steamer, steaming the wood and more. We will go from the bottom right to the top.

After each day will be a fire where we can sing songs, have conversations and break bread.
We will have a pot luck with light refreshments provided.
